Summer Shade Soap  Company LLC is a family  owned and operated company in Louisville,  Kentucky. We make luxurious, handcrafted, natural and vegan products that are palm free, soy free, sustainable and eco-friendly. We handcraft bar and liquid soaps, lotions, scrubs, lip balms, dog soaps, hand sanitizer, bug spray, laundry soap and dishwasher soap. We make each of  our products with our environment in mind. All of our products are completely biodegradable, palm oil free and soy free. We use wonderful, nourishing, superior quality oils, butters, essential oils and botanicals. Our products and our ingredients are NEVER tested on animals. Our soap boxes are made of 100% recycled cardboard and are completely recyclable, reusable and compostable! Our jars are BPA free and also are recyclable and reusable.

Do you, a family member or a friend have acne, rosacea, eczema or other skin issues? Do you have extremely dry or oily skin? Do you have allergies to your laundry detergent? We make our products is small batches, we cure, cut and package each item by hand to ensure that you and your family will receive the safest products available. Unlike most independent soap companies, Summer Shade Soap Company goes through health inspections (we have an A rating), we are certified and permitted by the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Department and we are an Accredited Business with an A rating with the Better Business Bureau!!
